Four of the largest data center spenders have budgeted over $700 billion for 2026. Microsoft's update comes Oct. 28.
AppLovin (APP) stock has lost 55.6% over the past year, trailing a 17.3% return for the S&P 500. Following that decline, shareholders may be counting on a newer line of business: selling web ads to online sellers, rather than just placing them in mobile games. The catch is that AppLovin has yet to show these sellers will actually spend money on a platform best known for games.
After this weeks washout, the stage is set for bulls to regain control.

Eric Criscuolo, Market Strategist at the NYSE, reviews a choppy week in which the S&P 500 slipped about 1% after a hot core CPI print sent yields sharply higher, only for a full reversal to offer equities no relief. Tech led the retreat, down roughly 4% with memory names hit hardest, as AI spending doubts and slowing growth at Anthropic fueled the bear case. A hotter PPI and a core retail sales miss then pushed 10 and 30-year yields down 15-20 basis points. Strong breadth lifted the equal-weight index as investors rotated into Staples and Healthcare, both up about 4%. Looking ahead, Meta, Tesla, IBM, SAP, and Blackstone headline a very busy earnings slate.

Bro spent thousands on UGC with zero winning format and nearly killed the business.Lino went straight to big fitness influencers before he had any proof of what actually converts. Thousands per video, margins at 5-10%, barely scraping $3-4K in revenue. The fix: he partnered with one big fitness creator for equity instead of chasing deal after deal. Suddenly the content was free, the creator had skin in the game, and AbMaxx took off. From there he cut every other UGC deal, doubled down on Meta ads at 2-2.5X ROAS, then moved the same creatives to TikTok and hit 4-5X ROAS targeting a younger audience.
